This is something I am really excited about: the Novena for Marriage & Family!
We first prayed this novena three years ago leading up to our wedding day. It is so vital to pray for marriages and families… just look at what St. John Paul II said. If there’s something wrong in our society, we must first look to the family for a fix, and pray for families.

We start on Sunday, August 30th and end on the Feast of the Nativity of Mary.

I pray lord that you reunite EF and ks,mend them,fill ks with love for EF.I pray for peace and happiness between them.Jesus break apart the friendship and relationship between khrissy and keith,drive her away Lord. I pray that things will get better between EF and ks,I pray he break the wall,I pray he start showing respect and care for her. I pray he stop telling her negative things,lord please touch his heart and draw him back to his family and never let him leave. I pray he start spending more time with EF,taking her out and treating her like how a woman should be treated.I pray he gives her more responsibilities with his business taking Khrissy involvement completely away, mash them apart lord in Jesus name I pray Amen

At the end of the Novena for family and marriages I got the best news: my daughter is expecting a new baby!
Once again my heart is sadden that my prayers for my husband and I get back together. Have not been answered. I’m having a really hard time letting go. 7 months have gone by with nothing. I don’t know why I pray for him. And why God won’t bring us together. I don’t want to be without him. I love him. my heart is so broken. And don’t know how much more I can take. Thank you.

When the Novena started my intention was for peace and harmony in my marriage. It has been volatile for a long time. Last night we had an argument I thought for sure was going to be silence in the household. It didn’t last long. My husband explained his position and said I might have misunderstood him. That has never happened before! I am relieved and very grateful!! God is good!
I pray that love will soften my ex husbands heart. That he will work with my to restore between us so that peace & love can return for all of us. That he realize that fighting & court will no resolve anything & that he may see the true intentions of anyone standing in the way of that.
I pray that my husband & I are able to put our egos aside & find a way to work through our troubles if that is what God wants. If we can’t that I may find someone who will love me, take care of me & bring me all the things my heart desires.

Thanking God for answering my prayers. For my marriage as it was on the verge of breaking. I and my husband didn’t interact for months. We have talked things over and promised never to punish each other ever again as it was killing us. I prayed the last novena and my prayers has been answered. Thank you mother Mary for interceding for me.
I pray for our good friends to find a job where they won’t have to move. The job offer he thought he was going to get just fell through. I praise God for protecting our friends from this job that would have kept them apart from each other. I pray that CJ is filled with peace and does not succumb to worry and anxiety. Help his wife be a positive light, and help them come back to practicing their Catholic faith.
Dear Holy Mother Mary: Please hear my prayers today. PLease help me get over the verbal attack yesterday afternoon by my ex-husband, please help me to let it go and move on from now on. Please handle this situation. I simply wanted to bring my son home for Christmas and asked him if would like to split the cost of the airfare. Turn it into something positive for me and my son. I pray for true friends all around me this weekend; I pray for love and that DB will contact me and we will reconcile; I pray that I will hear from him and that he will walk thru my door again; I pray that I will be in his home as well; I pray that I am the one to love and marry; I pray for love, friends, son, a husband and united family; I pray for financial increase and security; I pray for a great increase in my current job; I pray to continue to learn and do well; I pray that my son returns home to my home; I pray for healing for my father, James, Julia, Sylvia, Marianne; MMO and myself; I pray that I am directed and trust Christ’s providential care in this next chapter of life; I pray to be given signs today and miracles to arrive in my life and my son’s life; I pray for love for my mom and sisters in thier lives and peace of mind and joy….
I pray for love in my home….
I pray that God should help my sons to make choices of good marriage partners so has to have good Christian homes. For love to reign in my home. I also pray for strong family bond among all members of my family.
I ask for prayers for my son and his wife’s marriage. It seems after 3 years of marriage, she wants out of the marriage and my son is devastated. Please pray for a change of heart for her and an open heart to be willing to start over again and rebuild their marriage and to turn away from other temptations. Also, pray for my sons strength, courage, and faith that all things will work out if he places his trust in God.
We pray that the Lord grant my family and I a house to lay our heads.

I pray for myself and for M. Today was supposed to be our wedding day but it will never be. I pray for peace and healing and growth for both of us and for my broken heart. I pray for the separate paths we are now on and for the intentions in the silence of my heart.

Any chance that we can say the novena to St Michael the Archangel, whose feast day is Sept 29th? There are a few parishes near me that, after SCOTUS passed gay marriage, started including the St Michael prayer at the end of all Masses. Also, with the Planned Parenthood videos exposing the truth of their ways, now more than ever would be an excellent time to pray to St Michael for protection from evil and for healing. Thank you for considering my request.

I am requesting to pls. help me pray for the restoration of our marriage, and my husband will leave his adulterous lifestyle. May the merciful heart of Mother Mary, intercede for me, to help me lead back my husband to our home and become the husband and father, God intended him to be.
My heart goes out to you for I am in the same situation. My divorce is almost final. I didn’t want to divorce my husband, but I had to protect my daughter and myself. He continues his adulterous lifestyle. Despite all the pain and anger and hurt, always remember that God weeps with us. But ultimately, our husbands freely chose the dark path. All we can do is pray for their souls and learn to forgive just as we ask the Faher to forgive us for our sins. It is easy for someone to tell you to be strong, but I from experience ask you to be strong in your faith for your soul’s sake. I will keep you in my prayers. May God bless you and keep you always in His loving and merciful embrace.
