However, for every answered prayer we share, we know there are at least as many unanswered prayers — if not more; and we know that unanswered prayers can be discouraging.
But we don’t want you to lose hope, or to stop praying.
In fact, many of the Saints that we ask for intercession are great examples that we should persist in our prayers, and keep our faith strong. St. Monica, for example, prayed for nearly two decades before her prayers were completely answered.
Now, if you have had some prayers go seemingly unanswered (you’re not alone), and you’ve been asking yourself, “Should I just stop praying?” — here’s a post I wrote that may be able to help:

Dear Lord,
I am asking for you to send a good woman to my son Joseph who will love him always . He is losing hope and faith.
Dear Lord, I beg you to bless me to get pregnant. I am longing for a baby, and you know the fertility issues I have. Please I have prayed many novenas to Jesus, to Our Lady, to St. Padre Pio and various other saints. I know you have helped so many infertile women throughout. I thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed on them. because I know how frustrating it is to be childless. I am not giving up my hope my dear Lord of becoming a mother. Please bless us with a healthy baby. Amen
God i need your help. Please release me from all kind of toxic and negative connections and establish peace within us and in my mind. I pray for my future spouse.please bless me with a loving partner.be with my younger brother and grant him success in getting a permanent job.Amen
I have prayed different novenas for immigration to Ireland for 3 years now in search for greener pastures.I do get job interview invitations and sometimes get cancelled on last minute.If i do get to be interviewed they don’t issue a job offer saying that i am not in possession of a work permit ( which i can only process after being offered a job).I am a 37 year old lady and been praying all my life for a Godly spouse..I am getting weary and discouraged now. I am beginning to question myself if I actually should continue praying for marriage or I am destinied to be single..Or am I praying wrongly and if God is telling me to wait but for how long am I to wait…there are temptations along the way to be dealt with whilst I wait on God..If you do get a chance please help me pray that I keep my faith and focus on God.
I’ve prayed for something important for decades, no answer. I grow more weary each day, I find it hard to accept my answer is a short NO.
I need a job really bad. Time is running out. I said a novena to Mary for 9 days and hope to get an answer soon. Please if you read this keep me in your prayers.

Mine is really discouraging. 28 yrs old now, no job. I try but hardly gain a skill. Tried business and always failed. I will never make money (not a dime to be sincere). I used to suffer from extreme fear and agitation and now filthy unending demonic attacks.
For three years at least I have prayed many 54 day novenas, novena to St. Joseph, Our Lady, Confession, Rosary, Sacred Heart, Mass all to no slightest avail.
Sometimes if I pray the Rosary my temptations increase.
I’m just waiting for when God would have mercy on me.
I have been in a state of grace for 3 years now but the life has been hell.
Even pieces of advice given by priests at the Confessional never truly help.
I used to be intelligent but seem to have temporarily lost that too.
If you understand it, help me explain. It is something I cannot wish for anyone. I have even stopped praying the Rosary for now. It never helps me. I have never been answered by Our Lady my whole life. If you think I’m wrong, pray on my behalf. I would be happy to be relieved of some evil.
But I wonder why it was said “Remember O Most Gracious…” or the fifteen “promises.” I am a happy Catholic however and keep praying to God.

I prayed for my us visistors visa for graduation of my nephew but unfortunately it was denied. Without checking any of my documents just told me the nine days i intended to stay is long and was denied It being the third time refusal. This time I so it very promising having scheduled it, got the date after the graduation, expedited to the nearer date but still couldn’t get then I decided to cancel it after 3 days a friend call and told me to be checking the available dates at night which I did and luckily I got the date 8/8/2019 11.00am so I kept on asking myself why this recurrence only to be denied please pray with me for clarity and confidence to understand the whole scenario

I am not Catholic nor do I attend Church. I do believe in God and have been preying novenas. To St Jude I’ve praid to Mother Mary, Jesus, God and Saint Joseph. Maybe because I’m transgender I’m ignored. I’ve prayed to be in a Financial position to provide for my children and set up a Domestiv Viokence Housing Charity to provide cheap rentals to woman and child fe escaping DV. I prey to win the lottery. I’ll persist but maybe I’m not worthy
Dear St Jude: I prayed a novena and continued my prayer until the 12th day. God’s answer was a no. I did not have a sign or an answer just felt disappointed because I prayed with faith and was confident St Jude could grant me what I have asked many saints and was not able to get. I’m not praying for money or for something frivolous… my prayer is to ask for God to help me meet/find a good catholic man who desires a family, companionship and wants to share his life with me. I have prayed rosaries, novenas to different saints, tried much and have lost my last hope with the unanswered prayer from St Jude… God please listen to me at east once, and tell me if I’m not worthy if finding a loving person? I’m so lonely and so sad that tears are coming down my eyes right now. God bring me peace at least to continue since I need to accept your will and not mine. Sorry if I don’t have something positive to say, I wish I could join someday the answered prayers of St. Jude. I’m happy for all those people who received what they are asking for, you have been blessed and that is a reason to be happy and grateful to God our father. Amen!

I have been praying for the last years for myself and my hubby to get a permanent job, financial breakthrough and debts to no avail.
Years in years out, maybe there’s something am not doing the right way.

My partner and I have been going through a difficult time. She may be losing her job and we are both worried. Ive been parying to st. Jude to assit us in our time of need. After a couple of days of praying I felt an immense sense of peace. Something within me told it was going to be ok. I feel a huge feeling of reassurance that no matter what happens we are going to be ok. Thank you st. Jude for your support. I have no doubt that you have touched my heart and mind to settle it from everything that is going on. Ive already started to tell everyone about you and the wonderful thing you’ve done in my life. I will forever be devoted to you.
Please pray for me to find strength as my husband seeks a job. The road has been 3 yrs and cost great heartache. I am now fearing circumstances won’t change. I pray for you all to have your prayers answered.
I prayed for all the checks to go through for the nursing job l had been offered. Yesterday l had a phone call that HR will be informed that l can work! I ask the Living Lord to give me the wisdom to walk in the journey l am about to embark on.

This Novena came as my daughter was waiting for job interviews response . on the fourth day of this Novena she received answer that they found a matching program for her she is placed not where she wanted but where The Lord has chosen for her!. I prayed for a job for my son who just graduated from college where he would use the gifts God gave him. During the 9th day of the novena he had an interview and they told him they would call him the following week to follow up but they actually called him the following day and gave him the job! Thank you St Joseph!
I prayed for peace in my daughter’s marriage as they were ready for separation and the Mira happened. They were ready to start working on their marriage again.

After the Novena prayer for St. Michael the Arch Angel, God has been really good to me that HE Blessed me with a UN job which I have always prayed for. As if that was not enough, Since I was tired of doing interviews in the institution seeking to be taken on, this time round I prayed that No interview should be given but a job and indeed it happened as I asked. I give Glory and Honor to the Almighty. I also thank John Paul and Ann for the reminders to continue praying the Novenas. May God richly Bless you.

I am a breast cancer patient. Recently the cancer cells moved to my spine. I went through radiation of both spine and ovaries. The radiation seemed not to have achieved the intended results( menopause) to be able to use the recommended hormonal therapy. I was given one month by which if the radiation results are not achieved I was to go for surgery to remove my ovaries. After the St. Peregrine Novena, the tests showed that menopause has been achieved and there is no need for surgery. God is faithful above all things lets live for him irrespective of the challenges that come our way.
My daughter and son in laws 2 year journey to become pregnant has been granted by our almighty God. Blessed be our Lord for this is a true miracle and testament to the power of faith having faith on prayer and in His timing.
Since i started praying these novenas my intentions were to get pregnant since i was not getting my monthly menstrual cycle i did not know if i could get pregnant or not. Praise the lord i am blessed to be pregnant and i am 12 weeks now. I thank and praise the lord for answering my prayers. Please pray for me to have a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy.
I posted a prayer to St. Jude for healing for my brother in-law, who was in ICU at the time. He good enough to be back to work and undergoing treatment. Our prayers were answered partially. We continue to pray that the treatment works so that he is healed and would not have to have a liver transplant.
I prayed to St. Michael for my sister in Texas. The prayer is in progress. I have faith that we will get good results.

Thanks to St Jude for a job offer for my husband, which came through on the last day of the Novena, after months of searching in vain.
After praying to St. Jude for an intercession to My Lord Jesus Christ and Savior, I was able to get a much needed car financed. Thanks Lord Jesus and thanks St. Jude for your intercession
My son got job he has been looking for the last couple of years so he can provide for his family.
Thank you to St Jude for interceding on my behalf. I have just received results for a blood sample for possible prostate cancer. The results are negative. It says it is a normal enlargement at my age. I have another test (colonoscopy) for possible colon cancer, and I know St Jude will do the impossible! Please join me in prayer.
My husband’s drinking problem had worsened in the recent years. He had gone far away from God with no interst to attend Mass or any prayers. When I received the intimation for the Novena of St. Jude I remembered my mother telling me she prayed to St. Jude for my brother’s drinking problem and after that my brother stopped drinking till today. With new vigour and hope i prayed the Novena not for my husband to stop drinking but for his total conversion as I know if Jesus is in his life then he won’t do anything wrong. St. Jude heard my prayers and am pleased to inform all my bretheren that my husband has changed since 28th of October. Praise be to God. He is now taking baby steps towards coming back to Jesus. A big Thank you to everyone who prayed with me. Request your continuous prayers for his complete conversion.

Always always always continue to pray. My novena to St. Jude 2 years ago seemed unanswered until a month ago. Now God has listened to me and St. Jude and answered my prayers, and the time in between was truly the “right answer” for me and I don’t think things would have turned out as well for me if my answer had come immediately. God takes care of us in his own time and in his own way. It may seem he is not listening at first but there is always an answer. Don’t forget to LOOK FOR IT! It may not be right in front of your face and it may not be the answer you expect but I am certain that God and St. Jude were listening to me. Bless you all in Christ’s Name.

Hi all God answers prayers through His Saints in all the little things around us everyday.When we started the Novena I ran out of cooking gas and I had no franc on me.It was night and also a rainy one no umbrella,i thought of a man who sells gas in my neighbourhood.I went in the rain to his place and told him to give me gas that i had no money.his question was when do you intend to pay?i answered spontanouesly saturday without knowing i will get money from.Behold the next day when I went to work and opened the internet I saw a cheque that was sent to me by a former collegue from Abudabi.Is God not wonderful?I thank you John and Annie May GOd continue to bless you guys.

Blessing news! My name is Maria Lien Ngo. I would like to thanksgiving God for His blessing have showered on my family especially for my mom during St. Jude Novena. My mom’s foot has been healing daily during this Novena of St. Jude. She is getting better and better. Before I asked a prayer request for my mom, named Maria Nguyen, doctor said that her foot was extremely infected in a very worsted condition. There was less chance to keep her foot beacuse of the seriouly infection by a very old nail she step on.
In the other hand, I want to say thank you very much to John Paul & Annie and everyone, who prayed for my mom and for my intentions. I thankful you all, and I really appreciated your kindness and your love.

We continue to pray regardless of what happens in our lives, one day we get a job offer for a unique opportunity, the next day we are involved in a car accident caused by a careless driver. We are thankful for our blessings every day and ask for God’s protection.
