When we have experienced great struggles, difficulties, or suffering in our lives during the past year, the New Year holiday can be a time of renewed hope and an opportunity to ask Jesus to bless our lives.
No matter how we may have struggled in the previous year, we should always ask Jesus to assist us as we try to begin anew and renew our efforts at the start of a new year.

Why Pray the New Year Novena?
You can pray the New Year Novena if you have had a particularly difficult past year. You can use this novena to entrust your life in the new year into Jesus’ hands and to ask Him to pour out His grace on you in the New Year.

We know that we depend on You for all things in our lives, and Your loving providence keeps our lives in existence. As we begin a new year, we acknowledge Your power over our lives and seek Your help in all that we need.
