In our fallen world, there are many dangers and evils that people might fear. There are many things that can hurt us or cause damage to our lives.
Fear is a natural human emotion, and even the most courageous people struggle with fear at times. For some people, fear can become debilitating and can interfere with living a fulfilling life. But we can always turn to God for help when we are struggling with fear in our lives.
Let’s offer prayers in this Novena Against Fear that God will help all who are struggling with fear to have the courage they need.
Why Pray the Novena Against Fear?
You can pray the Novena Against Fear if you are struggling with a deep fear of a particular danger. Or you can pray this novena to seek help if you are struggling with a fear that is irrational or that is interfering with your daily life. You can also pray the Novena Against Fear if you are struggling with fear of many different things.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the many ways You provide for us. We ask You today to help us overcome our fear.
You are all good, and we know that You care for each one of our needs. But even when we know this, it is not always easy to put a stop to our fears. There are many things we might fear in our fallen world, but You can help us to have true courage in the face of fear.
We pray for Your help against our fear, and we particularly ask today that You help us and all who struggle with fear to grow in true courage.
Help us to grow in every virtue we need for holiness. Give us the grace to put our holiness and our relationship with You above all else in our lives.

Fear can cause a lot of difficulties for us in our lives. It is not always easy for us to know which fears are irrational and harmful. You can help us to grow in the wisdom we need to triumph over the fears that are harmful.
We pray for Your help against our fear, and we particularly ask today that You help us and all who struggle with fear to grow in true wisdom.
Help us to do all we can to grow in holiness and virtue each day. Give us the grace to serve You more devotedly each day of our lives.

Help us to always make our relationship with You our top priority in life. Each day, give us the grace to surrender to You all difficulties we face.

Help us to rely on You through every discouragement we face in our lives. Give us the grace to submit our lives fully to You, even in the midst of great difficulties.

You have revealed to us that the pains of hell are the worst possible thing that can ever happen to a person. Despite knowing that all pain and suffering on earth is only temporary, we still might deeply fear physical suffering at times. You can help us to order our fears rightly.
We pray for Your help against our fear, and we particularly ask today that You help all people who fear physical harm more than spiritual harm.
Help us to do all we can to strive for saintliness each day. Give us the grace to serve You unreservedly, even when it is very difficult.
