We do not always recognize how important virtues are in our lives, especially our spiritual lives. You have given us the virtue of hope for a very special purpose. Hope is very important to our relationship with You and our holiness. Through hope, we can direct all our actions and prayers toward an eternally happy future in heaven with You.
Please increase the virtue of hope in us, and we especially ask today that You help us and all people who need more hope in our spiritual lives.
Help us to do everything we can to grow to a deeper holiness. Give us the grace to always love You above all things.
