The Gospel of John says that God so loved the world He sent His only Son. He sent Christ to earth in order to redeem us so that the gates of heaven could be opened for us and we could spend eternity with Him in heaven.
Out of love, Jesus laid down His life for us on the cross. He willingly chose to suffer and die because of His great love for us.

Lord God, we praise You and thank You for the immense love You have for each of us. Help us to truly appreciate Your Love and what it means for us!
You created all people in Your image and likeness. You created each of us to know, love, and serve You. But in our fallen world, many of us at times feel far from You. The wounds of sin can cause us to even question our own worth at times.
Please help us to embrace Your love for us, and we particularly ask today that You help all people who do not feel worthy of love!
Help us to grow to a deeper intimacy with You each day of our lives. Give us the grace to fulfill all that You call us to do as Your children.

Even though we know that Your love for us is infinite, we do not always feel Your love for us. There are many circumstances that might cause us to doubt Your love for us and to struggle to believe in Your love. Doubts about Your love can make our relationship with You and our path to holiness much more difficult.

Help us to rely on You for strength each day of our lives. Give us the grace to submit fully to You in every circumstance.

Help us to make our relationship with You our top priority in life. Give us the grace to repent and return to You fully each time we sin.
