Your Resurrection from the dead is the most joyous occasion the world has ever known. We can never fully appreciate the greatness of Your Resurrection, but You can help us come to a deeper understanding and to a holy joy grounded in Your triumph over sin.

Your death on the Cross was the greatest act of evil that could be committed. To Your followers, it must have seemed as if sin had triumphed in Your Death. But Your Resurrection showed all that You are more powerful than evil and even have power over death.
