  3. I ran into a novena for financial distress, prayed to The Infant Child of Prague, from a Novena app that is Catholic. Yet, the directions for this particular novena state praying it for 9 consecutive hours, not days – perhaps because of the nature and urgency of the devotion?
    Your opinion?

  4. Shoulder Wound of Jesus
Oh loving Jesus, meek lamb of God, I a miserable sinner salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy Shoulder, On which Thou didst bear Thy heavy cross, which so tore Thy flesh and laid Thy bones as to inflict an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, Oh Jesus most sorrowful, I praise and glorify Thee, and give thankfully to thee for this most Holy and sacred and painful wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me on towards Heaven along the way of Thy Cross. 6. I’m part of of a men’s prayer group that has been meeting for about 2 years. There are several guys who have attended but only 3 or 4 of us who consistently attend. I am looking for a novena that might help sew a seed in the hearts of the men in our parish that will grow into an interest to become active participants in the Bible study. The ultimate intention is for this Bible study to increase the faith in the men in our parishes. Any suggestions to a novena that might help would be greatly appreciated.

    Your brother in Christ,
